High Schools Where Students Have Power

My Harvard PRSE classmates sent me this article about a school where students were given power to shape the life and culture of their school.  It is an interesting read, and seems to really fit with our Unitarian Universalist beliefs in the democratic process (although our principles don’t state anything about believing this for all ages…).  It seems like a nice complement to the SUN Schools program in Portland OR that I’ve watched grow and would love to work with at some point in the future. (Schools Uniting Neighborhoods).  PRSE is the Program on Religion & Secondary Education.

  1. I’m applying to the PRSE program, so I was excited to find your blog. I’ll definitely bookmark it. 🙂
