What?  ³SAY HEY, NW!² is a reception sponsored quarterly by Partners in Diversity to welcome new professionals of color relocating to Oregon and Southwest Washington.  The event brings together professionals new to the area, with a more established ³welcoming brigade².  Attendees include; community leaders, corporate and government representatives, community organizations and individuals eager to help make the honorees feel welcome and more connected to their new community.  It is a fun way to spend an evening (rain or shine) and at the same time support diversity in the workplace and community.  We hope to see you there!

o      Say Hey, NW is held quarterly to honor and welcome new professionals
of color arriving in Oregon or SW Washington (from other states) during the past 18 months.  If you are new, or know someone new, please contact Partners in Diversity (Vicki Nakashima) at 503-516-3505 or by e-mail – <>

encouraged to attend!  Please plan to come and show your support for a community that embraces diversity and greater inclusion in the workplace and community.

event.  The packets are full of good info on events, community organizations, local businesses, health promotion, employment, and goodies!
It is a way for the new (and not so new) to learn about what¹s going on.  If your organization would like to include an item in the packet, please send an email to <>  for more information.
